Introduction

A face detection-recognition algorithm was developed based on principal component analysis and was then implemented on a TMS320C4616 DSP starter kit.

  • Prototyped in MATLAB (Statistics and Machine Learning Toolbox, Image Processing Toolbox, Image Acquisition Toolbox)
  • Partially implemented on Texas Instruments TMS320C6416 DSP
